Customer Account Specialist (Full-Time)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

At ALP Supply, our Customer Account Specialists are responsible for ensuring the sales order process is handled efficiently while actively engaging customers who may have additional inquiries related to their projects. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively and understand both customers' needs and ALP Supply's company policies. As representatives of the company, members of the Customer Account Team must remain forthright, positive and professional. Possessing above-average time management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize set goals is crucial to the overall success of both the department and ALP Supply as a whole.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Communicating with customers through email and phone, including follow-ups related to quotes and leads
  • Maintaining a general working knowledge of ALP Supply’s product line in order to assist customers with basic inquiries that do not require the assistance of ALP Supply’s Technical Support Team
  • Utilizing ALP Supply’s distribution management software, Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), to create sales orders & quotes, maintain customer information and monitor supply chain updates
  • Engaging in daily communication with other company departments, including purchasing and order fulfillment, as well as our vendors
  • Collaborating with the ALP Fabrication Division on specific customer projects separate from general sales orders
  • RMA management and issuing customer credits for returns that comply with ALP Supply’s Exchange/Return Policy.
  • Additional day-to-day customer support tasks

CAPABILITIES

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Experience with distribution ERP software, preferably Epicor Prophet 21.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Quality Control Supervisor (Full-Time)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to supervise our Quality Control Team. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be a self-starter, highly motivated and comfortable working with limited supervision while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Supervise team of QC Technicians. Check lifting products and concrete accessories with gages and related equipment to stay in compliance with specifications and quality control tolerance. Prepare and record information to track results of testing procedures into database. Moving, picking, packing and labeling boxes and crates into and out of the designated Quality Control zones. Complete daily tasks within appropriate timelines, per QC Manager’s instructions.

CAPABILITIES

Able to lift and carry approx. 30 lbs. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel. Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.

Quality Control and Safety Coordinator (Full-Time)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full time highly motivated and driven individual to join our Quality Control Team and to oversee company’s Safety program. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be a self-starter, highly motivated and comfortable working with limited supervision while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Develop and maintain Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manage Lot traceability for manufactured/purchased products.
  • Check lifting & handling products, concrete accessories of precast concrete products with gauges and related equipment to stay in compliance with specifications and quality control tolerance.
  • Prepare and record information to track results of testing procedures into database.
  • Moving, picking, packing and labeling boxes and crates into and out of the designated Quality Control zones.
  • Complete daily tasks within appropriate timelines, per supervisor's instructions.
  • Develop and manage company’s Safety program.
  • Overseeing OSHA compliances for safety policies and make appropriate safety recommendations for our multiple warehouse locations.
  • Ensure Company safety policies and procedures are effective and meet regulatory compliance and reinforce proactive approach to safety.
  • Develop and Implement the safety orientation program and conduct new employee safety orientation.
  • Manage third-party safety providers and processes.
  • Procure and maintain safety equipment and testing schedules.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Capability to lift and carry approx. 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Forklift operation experience strongly preferred.
  • Pre-employment background check and personality test are required.
  • Must be pro-active, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification/ OSHA 30 Hour Certification (preferred).

Project/Engineer Manager (Full-Time)

ALP is seeking a qualified individual to work at our corporate office in Fairless Hills, PA. The role would be a Project/Engineer Manager with experience in Precast/Prestressed products. This individual would help develop and manage new products, respond to technical questions and provide engineered solutions for lifting and handling and structural connections.
